I loved the prototypes, but things got seriously screwed when I saw the production figures on the pegs.

Was it a great movie? Hell no.

I still liked it, mostly because of Bruce Campbell... I just want a figure of him as the fat, old Elvis. And the black Jack Kennedy ("they dyed me"), and Kemosabe. I think the concept is hilarious in a super cheesy way.

It is SUPPOSED to be a cheesy fun movie, it was never intended to be a masterpiece. It is definitely an acquired taste, I wouldn't expect everyone to think it was great. Personally, I love it, and can't wait for the figures!
